Hi there, I'm Ashley. Thank you for stopping by and checking out my stories, yoga classes and creative projects!

 

A little about me. I was born and raised in Maryland and have loved to play outside as long as I can remember. I find it hard to keep strangers from becoming friends. Alice from Alice in Wonderland (1951) is my spirit animal. I am proud to be a Local Guide with Google Maps and received the 2020 Guiding Stars Helpful Hero award for my work on behalf of the homeless in Santa Monica. I am a student of yin + restorative yoga. I trust in God with all of my heart and try my best to live more like Jesus. I love sunflowers, croissants, pyrography, wearing big hats, cats, woodworking and talking to my sisters. I enjoy live theatre and eating fried food at vegan restaurants. My feet get so dirty every day that I have to wash them before bed every night. I snore so much that my husband wears industrial strength earplugs at night. I love it when I remember that growing old is a privilege and that it's a blessing to be alive.

I live and work in Southern California with my incredible husband, Josh who I met on the dance floor of a bar in Washington, DC. To me, adventuring unabashedly means living boldly and walking with love. What does it mean to you?
